Copenhagen Airports wanted to handle a number of administrative tasks with tablets. This has resulted in an iPad app with focus on user satisfaction.

Can you streamline a number of time-consuming and monotonous work tasks, and at the same time make work fun? That was the goal of Copenhagen Airport's POS (point of sale) app, which was designed to carry out a number of different tasks in one cohesive app.

The app is aimed at employees among tenants in the airport's shopping centre.

The POS app has developed over time, in step with new needs arising in the airport's shopping centre, which internally goes by the name CASC.

The app's first function was the possibility of crediting and debiting points in the airport's benefit programme, CPH Advantage, in the airport's many shops. Customers who wanted to use and earn saved points when making purchases in the airport's shops had their membership card scanned in their CPH app, after which the clerk could credit or debit the desired number of points. The customer could also sign up for the program themselves via the app.

Subsequent versions includes order manegement for Click & Collect orders in the TAX FREE shop in addition to management of food pickup orders.
